The title Curtain Call suggests an ending, the actors’ final bow before the curtain falls. Here, however, the phrase takes on a more metaphorical meaning. The exhibition space as a stage, where you step in as a viewer—invited to move around, to lose yourself in ten photographic works. Ten photographers to follow beyond this room—a beginning.

A curtain also closes inside an old camera when the photographer presses the shutter. A brief, mechanical event that separates light from darkness, what is preserved from what is forgotten. Curtain Call balances on the threshold between the visible and the hidden, play and seriousness, memory and disappearance. Through photography and installation, the exhibition explores traces, reconstructions, and shifts.

This is not a thematic exhibition in the traditional sense. Instead, the themes that emerge have taken shape organically over two years of work and conversation. Echoes of games, rituals, and relationships run through the works. Curtain Call leaves space for you, the visitor, to explore these connections on your own—allowing them to take shape in dialogue with the works.
