Nkule Mabaso is an artist and curator, active internationally in the research and presentation of creative and cultural Africana contemporary art and politics. She is currently director of Fotogalleriet (Oslo), a publicly funded kunsthalle for photography in the Nordic region. Mabaso is also a PhD researcher at HDK-Valand and founding director of the Natal Collective (2012), an independent production company in South Africa.

MA Forum is a public seminar series on artistic research, hosted by HDK-Valand, in collaboration with l’Internationale Online. Through invited guests, the series explores different dimensions of artistic research.
