Are you curious to know who you will be studying with? With Goin', you can reach out to other future students and start building a community even before you arrive to Gothenburg.
What is Goin'?
Goin’ is a social network for new international students at the University of Gothenburg. You can connect with other students, find out who you will be studying with, help each other prepare for your move to Gothenburg, and build your own community ahead of your studies.
On Goin' you can:
- Meet students with shared interests and hobbies
- Connect with future classmates from your study programme
- Reach out to fellow students from your home country
- Join groups to finding housing or help each to prepare for your studies
- Make friends before moving to Gothenburg
International students admitted to the Autumn semester 2025 will receive their invitation to Goin' in mid-April.

Using the app is optional, and Goin’ requires your consent to process your personal data. To create your profile, Goin’ will process certain personal data (such as your name and email address).
