Postdoctor in marine biotechnology
The Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences is looking for a postdoctoral fellow for a project in biotechnology and marine microalgae. The overall scientific objective is to develop innovative technologies where microalgae can clean nutrient-rich wastewaters from the land-based aquaculture and seafood processing industry while simultaneously producing biomass for development of novel ingredients in a sustainable way.

Project assistant
The Department of Marine Sciences is looking for a project assistant for two high-profile scientific projects – the ERC Synergy projects “WHIRLS” and “RECLESS”. The project assistant will join the dynamic and highly supportive research teams associated with these projects, to assist project planning, development and day-to-day operations and potentially be involved with field work (international at-sea voyages) opportunities.

Doctoral student in Oceanography
The Department of Marine Science offers a PhD position in the interface of physical and biogeochemical oceanography as part of the ERC Synergy project RECLESS. The project aims to predict how ongoing ocean deoxygenation impacts microbial nitrogen transformations.
